Profile
Jim Moody has more than 32 years of experience handling a broad range of tort contract and business disputes, principally on behalf of insurance companies, product manufacturers and suppliers. A frequent speaker on insurance topics for legal and professional associations, Mr. Moody has represented primary and secondary domestic insurance carriers in a range of disputes that include high-exposure first- and third-party coverage, class actions, and extra contractual “bad faith” litigation. This experience has led to his representation of London-based and other European carriers in primary, excess and reinsurance claims. Mr. Moody also counsels clients on insurance coverage matters and has developed a growing mediation practice that focuses on insurance coverage disputes.
