James Alston has concentrated on criminal law for more than 17 years, and he is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As both a former Assistant United States Attorney and a former Harris County Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Alston has seen both sides of the criminal process, and he knows the means and methods that prosecutors use to seek convictions. Mr. Alston represents clients in the defense of criminal investigations and charges in all federal and state courts. Mr. Alston earned a J.D. from Loyola University in New Orleans, an M.S.W. from Tulane University and a B.S. in psychology from Lamar University.
