Profile

In 1983 I graduated Cum Laude from Baylor Law School and in 1988 I became Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Specialization. My wife and I have been happily married for 31 years and we have two wonderful daughters. Our oldest daughter received her MBA from Stanford and our youngest daughter is pursuing her Ph.D. at Harvard in Biostatistics. My law practice has focused on civil trial law with an emphasis in medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, commerical litigation, probate (will contest) litigation and oil and gas law. I also have an active civil appellate practice with over 50 published appellate decisions. Throughout my extensive civil trial practive I have tried many complex civil trial cases and brought the cases to verdict. In 2005, I was proud to be inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers at the age of 47.
