Profile

Joe E. Broussard, IV has been a shareholder with the firm since 1995.  He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a B.B.A. undergraduate degree in Accounting in 1984.  He received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in the spring of 1988 and began work in the business department of MehaffyWeber. In 1994, Mr. Broussard was board certified in the area of Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a certification which he currently maintains.  His professional activities include service on the Guardianship Advisory Board on appointment by the Statutory Probate Courts of Texas and as a director of the Southeast Texas Economic Development Foundation, Inc.  His practice areas also include real estate and oil and gas.  He is a frequent writer and speaker on various estate planning and tax topics.
