Mr. Brophy is a trial lawyer with substantial experience in the area of civil litigation. Mr. Brophy’s litigation experience includes acting as lead counsel in all types of business litigation including: securities litigation, contract and fraud litigation, director’s and officer’s liability litigation, real estate litigation, professional liability litigation, fiduciary litigation, construction litigation, energy litigation, and unfair competition and trade secret litigation. Mr. Brophy also has substantial experience in the area of personal injury, product liability and insurance litigation.

Mr. Brophy also has experience handling corporate and real estate matters and business transactions. Mr. Brophy’s transactional, real estate and corporate experience includes: the formation and structuring of multiple entities, responsibility for the acquisition and sale of improved and unimproved commercial properties, corporate acquisitions and the evaluation of corporate investment opportunities, drafting and analyzing numerous contracts, and the representation of clients before various governmental bodies and regulatory authorities.
