Profile

Attorney Kathryn Lanigan Pruitt is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  She focuses on helping individuals and families in Collin County, Denton County and Dallas County through tough family law issues, including divorce, child custody/parenting time disputes, child support, complex property division, paternity determinations, premarital and post-marital agreements, enforcement or modification of orders, and other related areas of family law.

Whether negotiating an agreement through collaborative law or in mediation, or representing clients in court, Ms. Pruitt has the experience and commitment to help her clients achieve lasting resolutions to their family law issues. 

Ms. Pruitt graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 1993. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation, and the Texas Family Law Foundation, among other legal organizations. She is also a well-published author and speaker at CLEs, legal conferences and seminars on various topics in family law.
