Leane Capps Medford has significant trial and appellate experience handling complex litigation in cases involving a wide variety of matters including intelectual property, employment law, aviation, insurance, reinsurance, indemnity, fraud, business torts and contractual disputes. Her expertise also involves significant experience with defending companies in state and federal multi-district litigation involving significant claims. She has earned a reputation as a pioneer in the use of technology to prepare cases for trial and the effective use of electronic briefs in trial and appellate courts. Ms. Medford is a frequent speaker and writer at both the national and state level in her areas of expertise. Her aggressive and innovative approaches to complex litigation have resulted in recognition as a “Texas Super Lawyer” in Texas Monthly Magazine from 2007 to 2010, and in 2009 she was named as one of the “Top 50 Women attorneys” in Texas. She has also been named one of the “Top 40 Lawyers Under 40” for commercial litigation and appeals in Dallas by D Magazine.
