Marion R. Lawler III is the founder of Lawler & Associates, P.C., a full-service law firm with an emphasis on insurance defense litigation. Mr. Lawler has been defending major insurance companies and local, regional and national corporations in the Rio Grande Valley and throughout Texas for more than 20 years. He has tried more than 50 cases to verdict and has gained substantial experience with claims involving auto accidents, trucking accidents, commercial disputes, construction accidents, construction defects, product liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. Mr. Lawler also frequently serves as local counsel for Taber Estes; Gardere Wynne, LLP; and King & Spalding.
Mr. Lawler was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and is fluent in Spanish. He earned his law degree from St. Mary's University in 1990, is board-certified as a personal injury trial law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been elected by his peers to the rank of associate within the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates organization. Throughout his career, Mr. Lawler has worked hard to earn the respect of his clients, opposing counsel, judges and other members of the legal community.
