Maryalyce W. Cox, a shareholder with Mehaffy Weber, P.C. was licensed to practice law in Texas and admitted to the Texas Bar in 1999.  She received a B.A. from Louisiana Scholars= College at Northwestern State University in Interdisciplinary Studies, magna cum laude, in 1995 and a J.D. from the University of Houston, magna cum laude, in 1999.   Ms. Cox specializes in civil litigation defense, with an emphasis on premises liability, products liability, toxic tort, insurance defense, environmental cases and pharmaceutical and medical device defense.  She has successfully tried to verdict personal injury and property damage cases in various jurisdictions in Texas courts.  Ms. Cox is co-founder of the firm's Sports and Entertainment Law Section.  She is a Registered Athlete Agent, and represents athletes as well as entertainers.
