Profile

Paul Clote is a civil trial and appellate lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He has tried a broad range of cases in state and federal court, with verdicts in cases involving fiduciary duties, partnership termination and wind-up, commercial letters of credit, trust account funds, ERISA disability benefits, broker commission fees, and the FLSA. He has argued appeals in the Texas Courts of Appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Clote is proud to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. In addition to his litigation practice, he enjoys working as a mediator, arbitrator, and special master. Mr. Clote has served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching commercial arbitration at the National Law Academy of Odessa, Ukraine, and mediation at Rice University.
