Criminal defense attorney Paul J. Goeke has been committed to providing clients in San Antonio, Bexar County and the surrounding portions of south central Texas with the highest quality of legal representation for more than 20 years. Mr. Goeke is also a former prosecutor with a background in science, medicine, and psychology; a unique combination of skill, training and experience that has consistently enabled him to successfully represent and win important victories for his clients. Mr. Goeke has a remarkable success rate in some of the most difficult cases, including capital murder cases, and he does not believe in compromising his clients' rights through plea bargaining or other shortcuts.
Since 1994, Mr. Goeke has been certified as a criminal law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Fewer than 1,000 of the more than 70,000 attorneys licensed to practice in Texas have earned this distinction. In his practice today, Mr. Goeke defends and protects the rights of individuals who have been accused of misdemeanor offenses such as DWI, theft and domestic assault, as well as all serious felonies, including intoxicated manslaughter, aggravated assault, drug trafficking, white collar crimes (fraud, embezzlement, etc.), sexual assault, child molestation, homicide and capital murder.
