A Principal in McKool Smith’s Austin offices, Pierre Hubert focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent infringement matters in complex electrical and computer-related technology. Mr. Hubert earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rice University with honors, a master’s degree in engineering from The University of Texas, and his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. He served as a clerk to the Honorable Pauline Newman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and has experience in federal courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. Hubert has been repeatedly recognized by his peers in the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list based on his work in IP Litigation, including 2008, 2009, and 2010. He also is an active member of numerous legal and business groups, and a past president of Austin Intellectual Property Law Association.
