Randall O. Sorrels, a partner of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Friend, a Houston-based personal injury firm, is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law and civil trial law. He is also board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil trial law.
As a recognized advocate for plaintiff's rights in personal injury and business litigation, Mr. Sorrels has been selected for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers list every year since 2003, and has been listed as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Texas since 2008. He is listed as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Association for Justice, included as one of Houston Top Lawyers for the People by H Texas magazine, and he is named to the list of the Best Lawyers in America. He is also recognized in Who's Who in American Law and America's Most Honored Professionals.
Among his many legal activities, Mr. Sorrels is the commissioner for the Texas Access to Justice Commission, a trustee for the Texas Bar Foundation and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is a vice-president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past president of the Houston Bar Association, Houston Trial Lawyer's Association and Houston Trial Lawyer's Foundation. He is an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the national Board of Trial Advocates, the American Association for Justice, the Texas and Houston Trial Lawyers Associations, and the Texas and Houston Bar Associations, among many others.
