Scott Hejny is a Principal in McKool Smith’s Dallas office. He is a registered patent attorney with experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property litigation involving electrical, chemical, mechanical and pharmaceutical technologies. Mr. Hejny earned his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University in 1995. He earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rice University in 1997, and graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 2002. Before law school, Mr. Hejny was a patent agent for a Houston law firm and also previously worked as a design engineer for an oilfield services company.
