Shawn Dick has devoted his entire career to the practice of criminal law. He has worked both as a prosecutor and a defense lawyer. In 1997, Mr. Dick began his career in Houston as a Harris County Assistant District Attorney. He moved to Georgetown, Texas in 2001 where he served as a Williamson County Prosecutor until 2005. During this time, he became a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist and was the recipient of two statewide awards. In 2005, Mr. Dick decided to switch sides, and dedicate his efforts to protecting individuals from the vast resources of the government. He has been recognized for his commitment by Super Lawyers as he has the rare distinction of being listed as a Super Lawyer Rising Star both as a criminal prosecutor (2005) and as a criminal defense lawyer (2008, 2009, & 2011).
