Since receiving his baccalaureate degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, an M.A. in English from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, and his J.D. from the University of Texas, he has been honing his craft before juries for over 30 years in the state and federal courts of Texas.
