Honors and Awards:

• American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is comprised of attorneys who display skill, civility and integrity, to help younger attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy and to educate the public about the vital importance of the Seventh Amendment. Thomas Jefferson was of the opinion that the right to trial by a jury of fellow citizens was a more important safeguard of personal liberty than the right to vote. With a jury, the rights and duties of each of us will be decided by our fellow citizens, not by some bureaucrat or governmental functionary. ABOTA agrees with Jefferson and is a leader in the fight to preserve and protect your right to a jury trial. ABOTA is dedicated to “Justice by the People.”  Membership is by invitation., Membership to ABOTA, 2006

Special Licenses/Certifications:

• Board Certified, Personal Injury Trial Law - Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Of the approximately 83,000 attorneys in Texas, only about 10% are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Approximately only 2% of the licensed attroneys in the state of Texas are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law., 1997

Bar/Professional Activity:

• Mr. Parker has been on the Board of Directors for the Tarrant County Bar Association for several years.  He currently serves as Immediate Past President.  Mr. Parker has further served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and currently serves as Vice President - Legislative affairs., 2010

Educational Background:

• Mr. Parker received his BA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and went on to obtain his JD from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1985.
