Honors and Awards:

• American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is comprised of attorneys who display skill, civility and integrity, to help younger attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy and to educate the public about the vital importance of the Seventh Amendment. Thomas Jefferson was of the opinion that the right to trial by a jury of fellow citizens was a more important safeguard of personal liberty than the right to vote. With a jury, the rights and duties of each of us will be decided by our fellow citizens, not by some bureaucrat or governmental functionary. ABOTA agrees with Jefferson and is a leader in the fight to preserve and protect your right to a jury trial. • Board Certified, Personal Injury Trial Law - Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Of the approximately 83,000 attorneys in Texas, only about 10% are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Approximately only 2% of the licensed attroneys in the state of Texas are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law., 1997

Educational Background:

• Mr. Parker received his BA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and went on to obtain his JD from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1985.
