Jeff Paradowski, P.C. believes that investing in your community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support your business. Volunteer groups and non-profit organizations do so much to help the community that all of us are a part of, but they can't do it alone. As successful members of the community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. For some, a financial means of assisting is not an option with the economic challenges; however, you can give your time and volunteer with local organizations that are able to utilize your skills and talents. There are so many organizations that need helping hands to assist in the day-to-day operations. Jeff initiated the community event Christmas Bikes For Kids. “Christmas Bikes For Kids is a way of giving back to the community that has given so much to my family and me. There are too many people in our community who go without. Imagine Christmas as a child being like any other day of the year. It’s reality for many children. It continues to amaze me to see how a simple gift like a bike can instantaneously brighten up a child’s face. The simple things in life can bring such joy to others and moments like that are magical.” There are tangible benefits to giving back to the community. If applicable, you'll be able to use the charitable deduction on your income tax. By giving back to the community, you can raise your business' profile and even bring you more customers or clients. Many businesses take PRIDE in giving back and many are recognized in the Brazos Valley for their continued support. Perhaps in the holiday season, more than at any other time, our hearts go out to others. But there are always those who are less fortunate than we are and will appreciate our help all year round. Give what you can regularly to the charities that make a difference to your local and national community. Jeff says, “Giving back to those in need make people feel like they matter. We want every individual to count. By doing that, we pay it forward in hopes that those individuals impacted by what has been given to them will in turn give back.” That defines making a difference. There are endless chances to get involved in giving back to the Brazos Valley. It’s only a matter of where you look and how dedicated you are as a citizen of your community.
