Prior to opening his current practice in Dallas, Texas, Walter S. Cowger was a partner in the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, LLP. A Yale alumnus and graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, he is committed to providing Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals with qualified counsel in their labor and employment law disputes.

Walter was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, in 1951. His love of law came at an early age when he spent time at his grandfather's firm. Now, an experienced practitioner himself, he strives to put the interests of his clients first. Walter is a proud member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia State Bar and the State Bar of Texas. He has been practicing law for more than 35 years.
