Wayne D. Haglund is the principal attorney of Haglund Law Firm of Lufkin, Texas. With more than 30 years of legal experience, he represents governmental entities, school districts, educational institutions and other organizations in matters of administrative law, public law and education law.

Due to his dedicated and thorough representation, attorney Haglund has been selected by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer each year since 2004. He was also selected for inclusion in the Texas Top-Notch Lawyers, which includes just five lawyers honored in Texas, by The Texas Lawyer Go-To Guide in 2002.

As an active leader in his community, Mr. Haglund has served in several leadership positions in the School Law section of the State Bar of Texas, the Angelina County Bar Association, the Council of School Attorneys and the Legal Assistance Fund of the Texas Association of School Boards, and the Texas Association of Community College Attorneys. He is a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and an active member of the National School Board Association as well as the Education Law Association.

Attorney Haglund received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1975. He is licensed to practice before both state and federal courts in Texas. He regularly gives seminars and lectures on education and public law issues.
