Profile

I am proud to be a trial lawyer. I get to help real people and their families, people who have been seriously injured and are working hard to make things right again.  And, I get to hold accountable those who violate public safety rules and needlessly endanger others.  My practice is 100% dedicated to representing injured people and their families -- I do not work for insurance companies or big corporations. Many attorneys call themselves "litigators," but mostly that means pushing papers around and waiting until they can settle the case for whatever they can get from the insurance company. I love trying cases, taking a case out of the hands of the insurance company and entrusting it in the hands of real people, the jury. I am a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist, by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and a graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College.  I am President-elect (May 2009) of the Vermont Association for Justice. and serve as Vermont State Delegate to the American Association for Justice.
