Profile

Mr. Plevy has practiced for 31 years before the courts of Maryland and Virginia. His experience and reputation among judges and peers have earned him the coveted AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Plevy’s expertise extends to all areas of family law including divorce, custody, relocation, and support, and he has litigated several oft-cited appellate cases in these areas. Mr. Plevy serves as a Neutral Case Evaluator and Conciliator in the 19th Circuit of Virginia and on the Divorce and Family Law Attorney Resource Panel, advising legislators. Mr. Plevy has served on the VBA Fifth District Committee, Disciplinary Board, and the Fee Dispute Committee. Mr. Plevy, a world traveler, is pictured above in Tibet.
