Mr. Douglas A. Barry currently serves as the president of the Allen Law Firm. Early in his career he served as Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Richmond. Thereafter, he served as Special Agent for the FBI until he returned to legal practice as Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney for Hanover County. He then joined Allen & Allen, bringing with him extensive legal experience handling complex automobile, medical malpractice, and products liability cases. Mr. Barry is a former president of the Hanover County Bar Association and currently serves on the National Advisory Board for the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. Virginia Lawyers Weekly lists his settlements among the top 25 in 2008.
