Profile

Irv Cantor is the Managing Director of Cantor, Stoneburner, Ford, Grana & Buckner. Irv’s practice is limited to representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury and death cases, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury cases. He is a past President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Brain Injury Association of Virginia, and the Virginia chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Irv has tried to verdict or settled over 1,500 personal injury cases in his career, including approximately 375 brain injury cases, and has obtained over 30 verdicts or settlements exceeding $1 million. Irv was Chairman of the National Legal Conference of the Brain Injury Association of America in 2008 and 2009. Irv is the recipient of the 2010 Weinstock Award from the Brain Injury of Virginia, awarded for his commitment to individuals with brain injury. He was named a "Leader in the Law" by Virginia Lawyers Weekly in 2010.
