Profile

A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Mr. Garriott represents clients in divorce, property settlement agreements, child custody and pre-marital agreements. He also handles a variety of civil litigation including personal injury, employment, workers' compensation, and contract matters. Mr. Garriott was selected for the 2009 Class of Leaders in the Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly and holds Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating of AV Preeminent. In 2011 he was selected for Virginia’s Legal Elite by Virginia Business Magazine in the Family/Domestic Relations category. He serves on the governing boards of the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section and the Virginia Bar Association Domestic Relations Council and is a member of the I'Anson Hoffman Inn of Court, the Virginia Family Law Coalition, and the Virginia Beach Board of Zoning Appeals.
