V. Anne Edenfield has practiced law since 1975 in the Roanoke Valley with a focus on elder law, including complex Medicaid issues, long-term care, special needs trusts, estate planning, and estate administration. She also has a family law practice and is qualified by the Supreme Court of Virginia to serve as a Guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults and children. Her extensive experience in both elder and family law allows her to serve clients whose legal needs often include both. She has always been committed to the community by serving on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations such as Mental Health America of Roanoke Valley, Good Samaritan Hospice, Carilion Bioethic Committe, the YWCA, among others. Ms. Edenfield is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill and also the UNC School of Law.
