Allan M. Siegel is a partner at the law firm of Chaikin, Sherman, Cammarata & Siegel, P.C. where his practice is primarily concentrated in the area of serious personal injury resulting from automobile and tractor-trailer negligence, premises liability, and medical malpractice. He is a Past President of the Trial Lawyers’ Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. (“DC-TLA"). Mr. Siegel has dedicated his entire legal career to representing victims injured as a result of the negligence of others. He has successfully tried and settled hundreds of cases in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. He has distinguished himself in the D.C. metropolitan legal community by routinely taking what others have deemed to be ordinary, or even impossible cases and attaining extraordinary results. His dedication and perseverance, combined with his courtroom skills, have earned him respect among his peers. In addition to being selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of Washington DC Super Lawyers, he has been named one of Washington's "Top Lawyers" by Washingtonian Magazine in every year that the magazine has compiled this list since 2004. The Washingtonian compiles this list by contacting local attorneys in the personal injury field and asking them who they would choose to represent them if they needed legal assistance. Prior to serving as President of the Trial Lawyers’ Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Mr. Siegel served as President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and spent six years on the Board of Governors of this organization. He also co-chaired the membership committee and served two years as the co-chairman of the education committee, planning, organizing, and moderating educational programs presented to other lawyers throughout the D.C. Metropolitan Area. Mr. Siegel is an active member of The American Association for Justice and currently serves as DC-TLA’s delegate to that organization. Mr. Siegel is a 1991 graduate of The George Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He obtained his J.D. from The George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1994 where he graduated with honors. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
