Barry Boss has extensive federal jury trial and appellate experience, and has successfully defended individuals and corporations accused of, or investigated for, a wide range of criminal activity throughout the country. A former Assistant Federal Public Defender, Barry co-authors Federal Criminal Practice and teaches at The George Washington University Law School where he received the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Teaching Award in 2006. He has been named a Top Lawyer by Washingtonian magazine, elected as a fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, and awarded Lawyer of the Year by the District of Columbia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. From 2000-2004, he served as co-chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission's Practitioners' Advisory Group.
