Profile

John Heintz is a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and chair of the Insurance Recovery and Washington, D.C. Litigation practice groups.  He has over 30 years of experience in the fields of corporate insurance coverage and other complex multiparty litigation.  Mr. Heintz has represented clients in securing coverage for asbestos, lead, environmental contamination, class-action discrimination, directors’ and officers’ liabilities, and medical product liability claims.  He also has represented clients in securing coverage for property and business interruption losses arising out of the 9/11 attacks and other catastrophic events.In the course of these representations,   Mr. Heintz has obtained favorable rulings for clients in numerous landmark appellate cases in state and federal courts.
