Other Outstanding Achievements:
- Successfully lobbied for enactment of the Frank Harris, Jr. Offset Justice Amendment Act of 2007, to prevent the District of Columbia from offsetting the cost of support of a person whenever the District has been found negligent in the care fo that person. The law was named after a cleint of the law firm., 2007
- Drafted legislation which became the law known as the Athletic Concussion Protection Act of 2011. The law protects persons age 18 or under who are participating in any orgnaized athletic activity in the District of Columbia by requiring their removal from practice or play if suspected of having a concussion. They can only be permitted to return to participation in the athletic activity after obtaining written clearance from a licensed healthcare provder. The Act also has an educational requirement. This is the most expansive in scope of any similar legislation in the nation. , 2011
