Joe West is the Chair of Gibson Dunn's Government and Commercial Contracts Practice. He has 35 years of experience in all aspects of government contracting. He was named by the Legal Times as one of the District of Columbia's Top Twelve Federal Procurement Lawyers in November 2004, and, in September 2006, he was named the city's Top Government Contracts Lawyer by the Washington Business Journal. Joe also has represented owners, developers, contractors, and architects/engineers in every phase of the construction process. He is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers, a graduate (with high honors) of The George Washington University Law School, and is a registered professional civil engineer.
