Mary’s practice focuses exclusively on intellectual property law.  She offers clients full service global intellectual property management and protection ranging from developing trademark strategies and assisting with mark development to trademark and copyright prosecution and litigation. Mary served on the International Trademark Association Board of Directors for three years and currently serves as Chair of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) subcommittee charged with representing the international trademark bar before the USPTO. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina School of Law where she serves on the Alumni Board of Directors.
