Mary Pivec advises and defends employers in legal disputes with employees and agencies that enforce discrimination, wage and hour, immigration, and other labor laws. She enjoys a national reputation as an advocate for employers in DOL/WHD LCA compliance investigations and appeals, DHS/ICE benefit fraud, employer sanctions and I-9 investigations, hearings and appeals, and DOJ/OSC immigration-related discrimination investigations and hearings. She also has a substantial whistleblower claim defense practice, handling investigations, hearings, and appeals of claims brought under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Surface Transportation Assistance Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and environmental whistleblower statutes.
