Mary Pivec advises and defends employers in legal disputes with employees and agencies that enforce discrimination, wage and hour, immigration, and other labor laws. She enjoys a national reputation as an advocate for employers charged with civil and criminal violations of federal and state immigration and employment laws. Known as a dynamic speaker, Ms. Pivec was asked to deliver the Employment Law Update at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Society for Human Resource Managers held in Las Vegas, predicting that anticipated immigration reform legislation would create tremendous new burdens for employers and would revitalize the declining United States Union movement.
