Pleasant Brodnax focuses his practice on federal court litigation in the District of Columbia and the Eastern District of Virginia. He has successfully defended persons charged with export violations, money laundering, public corruption, business frauds, drug crimes and federal death penalty offenses. Mr. Brodnax has served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia and as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has lectured on export licensing and controls, has written export control policy articles and has served as chairman of the International Practice Section of the Virginia State Bar.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
