Profile

Stephen M. Seeger is a founding partner of Seeger Faughnan Mendicino PC, a law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and northern Virginia. Steve’s practice is based in the firm's D.C. office and has an emphasis on litigation involving construction, surety law and government contracts. He has successfully tried dozens of complex cases in the state and federal courts of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, as well as before arbitral panels, administrative boards and boards of contract appeals. With that perspective, he counsels his clients on litigation avoidance and opportunity optimization.

Steve is a 1990 graduate of The George Washington University Law School. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar and the Washington Building Congress, and he frequently lectures on current issues in construction and government contract law. Smart CEO magazine recently included Steve in its listings of Washington, D.C., "Legal Elite," while Chambers & Partners, publisher of the world's leading guides to the legal profession, identified Steve as a leader in the D.C. construction bar, specifically noting his talents as both a litigator and a "… hard working straight shooter."
