Art Claflin has been a trial lawyer for more than 30 years. He emphasizes representation of parties in commercial disputes, including business torts, contracts, breach of fiduciary duty, and corporate control contests. He has litigated cases in a wide range of industries from the mundane (cardboard boxes) to the abstruse (biotechnology), and many in between, including accounting, agriculture, computer software, construction, fisheries, oil-and-gas, and real estate. A graduate of Yale Law School and AV-rated since 1983, he has served as a lawyer delegate to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference and on the Judicial Recommendation Committee of the WSBA.
