Bill Bowman has successfully defended hundreds of DUI cases in over 18 counties across Washington. He is one of only three lawyers in the state to complete the Washington State Patrol's Breath Test Training Program. Bill’s extensive knowledge of breath alcohol testing has led to significant legal challenges to Washington's DUI breath testing program and has affected the admissibility of breath test evidence in hundreds of DUI cases throughout the state.
In his almost two decades of practice, Bill has earned a reputation as one of the top DUI attorneys in the state. The judiciary, the legislature and other lawyers regularly call upon Bill to educate them about breath testing and cutting-edge DUI issues and to testify about DUI legislation. A former Public Defender and Deputy King County Prosecutor, Bill was a founding partner of the well-regarded DUI defense law firm Fox Bowman Duarte prior to joining SGB.
