Chris Davis is the founder and principal of Davis Law Group, P.S., a boutique personal injury practice that specializes in plaintiffs' personal injury law, with an emphasis on automobile and pedestrian accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injury cases, medical negligence, spinal cord injury and insurance claims. A former prosecuting attorney, Mr. Davis has been practicing law for nearly 20 years. He is the author or co-author of at least seven (7) books in the field of wrongful death and personal injury law. He has obtained several million dollar and multi-million dollar settlements and/or verdicts, including those involving prominent and newsworthy cases. Mr. Davis has also been recognized as an expert legal commentator, and has been featured on local and national news shows, including CNN's Anderson Cooper 360. In 2007, Mr. Davis was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Washington State Association for Justice (formerly Washington State Trial Lawyers Association) and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, North American Brain Injury Society, Brain Injury Association of Washington, American Association for Justice, and the American Trial Lawyers Association (he has been named in the Top 100 Trial Attorneys every year since 2007). Mr. Davis is also a Charter Member of the American Lawyers Academy, an organization dedicated to promoting and achieving excellence in the legal profession. In 2011, Mr. Davis was chosen by the ALA as "Personal Injury Attorney of the Year." Mr. Davis started the Davis Law Group Scholar Athlete Award that recognizes and rewards high school athletes for their successes on the field and in the classroom. In addition, Mr. Davis started the Teacher School Supplies Gift Program by donating several thousands of dollars each year to help teachers purchase school supplies for their students. Mr. Davis is also a fundraiser & supporter of MADD - Mothers Against Drunk Driving. A lifelong Washington State resident, Mr. Davis received his finance degree in 1989 (with honors) from the Foster Business School at the University of Washington and his law degree in 1993 from the University of Oregon. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
