Profile

Since joining the law firm of Chicoine & Hallett, P.S., in 2004, Cori Flanders-Palmer has focused her practice on the areas of federal and state tax controversy as well as white-collar criminal defense. Cori has experience representing individuals and corporations before the Internal Revenue Service, the Washington State Department of Revenue, and in the federal court system, including U.S. Tax Court. Handling a range of taxation issues from voluntary disclosures and penalty abatements with the IRS to professional malpractice claims against tax-shelter promoters, Cori provides effective and efficient legal services for her clients. Cori serves on the Scholarship Committee of the Washington State Bar Association Taxation Section. Cori is also an Adjunct Professor for the University of Washington School of Law, Graduate Program of Taxation, where she teaches Tax Crimes.
