Profile

Daniel's business practice includes stock and asset acquisitions and private offerings of securities. His broad experience allows him to advise clients regarding their business, financing, employment, and planning needs. He also represents a number of nonprofit organizations and is familiar with the legal issues they confront. He serves on the board of directors and as President of Seattle Kendo Kai and on the board of directors of the Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation. He holds the rank of yondan (fourth degree black belt) in kendo. He is also a playwright, with his blank verse play, Weeds, playing to sold-out audiences at the Seattle Fringe Festival (2000). He appeared in Antigone (2003 Seattle Fringe Festival), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (2004 CHAC), and The Winter's Tale (July 2005, Freehold Theatre). Education: Seattle Pacific University (B.A., summa cum laude, 1980); King Hall School of Law, University of California, Davis (J.D., 1983).
