Profile

Darrell D. Hallett focuses his practice on representing clients in civil and criminal tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Justice, and federal courts. Prior to entering private practice in 1983, Mr. Hallett served as counsel to the IRS, a trial attorney with the Justice Department Tax Division, and a Special Trial Judge with the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Hallett is a frequent lecturer on federal tax practice and procedure and has served as an expert witness on taxation issues in state and federal courts. He also served as an Adjunct Professor with the University of Washington Graduate Program in Taxation for nine years. Mr. Hallett brings his extensive experience to the defense and representation of his clients.
