Darrell L. Cochran is a partner in the law firm of Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malanca, Peterson & Daheim LLP. He received his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1993 after having graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Washington in 1990. Mr. Cochran is a trial attorney who represents injured victims in complex personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, civil rights, and commercial injury cases. He has appeared before every level of court on behalf of his clients to protect their interests, from municipal courts all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a strong advocate for citizens with developmental disabilities and children who have been sexually abused. Mr. Cochran's practice includes plaintiff cases in federal and state courts involving police misconduct, racial discrimination, excessive force, and government liability. Recently, Mr. Cochran settled a class action against private vocational school BCTI for $13.25 million and settled the state's largest mold case for $750,000.
