Professional Experience: Deanna has worked with clients in all areas of family law and is a passionate advocate for her clients. She is from the Happy Valley/Clackamas area and appreciates the opportunity to serve clients from there and from all over Oregon. Her goal is to provide all clients with individualized and personal representation, while working hard to protect their interests. Deanna's clients appreciate her straightforward yet sensitive approach, her humor and kindness even in times of struggle, and her undying tenacity to work toward the best possible outcome. Prior to joining SK&H as an associate, Deanna practiced family law at a firm in Lake Oswego. While completing her education, Deanna clerked for a civil litigation firm in Seattle and for a sole practitioner in Spokane who dabbled in a little bit of everything.

Education: Deanna graduated from the University of Washington, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and from Gonzaga University with a Juris Doctorate. In college, she was active in her sorority (Pi Beta Phi), student government, and various philanthropic activities. In law school, Deanna founded the Sports & Entertainment Law Club, was published in the area of sports and labor law, and was a national student liaison to the American Bar Association Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law.
Professional Activities: Deanna is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Washington State Bar Association, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. She is a member of local groups such as the Clackamas, Washington and Multnomah County Bar Associations, as well as the Clackamas County Family Law Group. Deanna has also volunteered as an attorney with the St. Andrew Legal Clinic, Clackamas County location.
Community Activities: Deanna was a member of Pi Beta Phi at the University of Washington and is active as an alumnae. She sits on the alumnae advisory board of the group at the University of Oregon, first as Financial Advisor and now as Philanthropy Advisor. She is also a member of the Lake Oswego-Dunthorpe Alumnae Club, first as Public Relations Chairperson and now as Secretary. Deanna frequently volunteers on local, state and national political campaigns and enjoys organizing political events and walking door-to-door for votes. She has worked on local campaigns in her community in 2008 and 2010. In law school, Deanna volunteered at the YWCA and helped conceptualize a career center for low income women. In 2010, Deanna volunteered as a mock trial judge for the regional high school mock trial competition held at the Clackamas County Circuit Court.
Interests: Deanna is a fanatic supporter of University of Washington athletics, namely Husky football and basketball. In her free time, Deanna enjoys wine and beer tasting, watching football, movies and taking her dog, Rocky, on walks and to the dog park when weather permits. Deanna has been a Blazers fan since the early days of Rip City and enjoys having a great team to root for once again.
