Profile

Gerrit J. Ayers focuses his practice on personal injury defense, with a special emphasis in medical malpractice defense. Gerrit also represents physicians and other health-care practitioners in responding to Medical Quality Assurance Commission inquiries. He is a member of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association, where he currently serves as Co-Chair of the Professional Liability Practice Section, and actively participates as a member of the WDTL Legislative Committee. He is also a member of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association. Gerrit donates his time to the Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution as a Volunteer Mediator. A proud Washington native, Gerrit graduated with honors from Gonzaga School of Law. He resides in Puyallup with his wife, Carrie, and their two children, Audrey and Austin.
