J.D. Stahl is a partner at Mundt MacGregor L.L.P. with 25 years of civil litigation experience. In an age of ever-increasing specialization, J.D. has enjoyed a general litigation practice spanning a wide array of subject matters -- from unfair business practices, misappropriation of trade secrets, will contests and contract claims, to ship mortgage foreclosures and other admiralty proceedings, medical malpractice, real property disputes and wrongful termination of employment. J.D. has obtained temporary restraining orders and other prejudgment remedies in dozens of cases and also has substantial experience prosecuting and defending class action cases. J.D. has successfully argued numerous appeals in state and federal courts, including the Washington Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a former Chair of the Litigation Section of the Washington State Bar Association (2006-2007) and is certified as a Rule 39.1 mediator. J.D. graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 1983. Before joining Mundt MacGregor, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. John C. Coughenour of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
