Janna Annest is a litigator and an adoption attorney in Seattle, Washington who represents individuals, businesses, and government entities in insurance coverage, real property, commercial, and product liability disputes. Janna also handles all types of adoption proceedings throughout Washington, speaks frequently about adoption law, and is a regular columnist for Adoptive Families Magazine. Janna has practiced at Mills Meyers Swartling since 2003, and became a shareholder in 2011. She received her J.D. with honors form the University of Washington School of Law in 2003, where she served as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Washington Law Review. She graduated cum laude and with high honors from Dartmouth College in 2000, where she captained the women's volleyball team and was a visiting student at Oxford University. Janna serves on the board of Adoptive Friends & Family of Greater Seattle, leads the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Western Washington, and is a member of the Dartmouth College Alumni Council and Club Officers' Executive Committee.
