John Cooper is Of Counsel to the Seattle firm of Stafford Frey Cooper, focusing on mediation and arbitration in more than 2,000 claims and disputes over the past 20 years.

 

Mr. Cooper’s mediation experience includes a wide variety of tort claims, insurance coverage, fidelity claims, surety/construction claims, maritime claims, professional liability (medical, legal, accounting), commercial disputes, real estate disputes, civil rights claims, and employment claims. He is affiliated with Washington Arbitration and Mediation Service (WAMS).

 

Admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1970, Mr. Cooper joined Stafford Frey Cooper in 1971.  Prior to becoming a full time mediator and arbitrator, his practice focused on the areas of negligence and product liability, insurance coverage issues, commercial law and litigation, fidelity and surety law, and maritime law.

 

Mr. Cooper received his USA&M/WAMS Mediator Certification in 1989, with advanced mediator training in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
