Jonathan Rands, Attorney at Law, focuses his practice exclusively on defending those charged with DUI and other alcohol-related crimes. Located in Bellingham, his law firm serves clients throughout the northwestern counties of Washington State.
Mr. Rands has handled well over 1,000 Department of Licensing hearings and DUI cases, earning him a soaring reputation as a successful DUI defense lawyer. Both clients and colleagues acknowledge his vast experience, professionalism, insight and courtroom skills.
Under the standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Mr. Rands is qualified to administer roadside sobriety tests (SFSTs). This in-depth understanding of the SFSTs allows him to more effectively and aggressively defend his clients’ rights.
Mr. Rands regularly airs on the radio and publishes blog posts on legal topics. He was also a contributing writer for a DUI textbook for fellow lawyers. In addition, he lectures throughout Washington State on DUI and DUI immigration matters.
Mr. Rands graduated with his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law. Today, in addition to handling his thriving practice, he sponsors a number of nonprofit organizations and volunteers his time to provide pro bono legal service in the area.
