Profile
Ms. Hunter's philosophy is that everyone should be able to afford a caring, competent attorney, and she dedicates herself to that pursuit. She worked for the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and worked as a Public Defender. Ms. Hunter currently is conflict public defense for several municipalities. She has conducted nearly 20 jury trials, numerous bench trials, motions, and extensive court appearances. Dedication, caring, and perseverance are her traits. Areas of concentration are criminal law focusing on domestic violence issues, DUIs, driving offenses, and other misdemeanor work. She serves on the Board of Governors for the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is on the board for the Criminal Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association. She is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense. Ms. Hunter also works on special contract projects in the summer: establishing small businesses and negotiating contracts (a favorite activity of hers).
