Profile

Lenell Nussbaum represents individuals in criminal investigations, trials and appeals in state and federal courts. She is counsel of record in more than 60 published appellate opinions. The Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers presented her with its William O. Douglas Award for extraordinary courage and dedication to the practice of criminal law. She recently lectured on the United States Constitution at a law school in Russia. She serves as a Justice on the Suquamish Tribal Appeals Court. She is a past President of WACDL, a founding member of the Washington Appellate Lawyers Association, and a member of the Washington Sentencing Guidelines Commission. She graduated in 1980 from the University of Michigan Law School.
